Story

Two girl’s named Myra and Nora are at the park. Myra was a 12 year old girl, and she LOVED the Egypt gods, and believed they where real, and she could eventually meet them.

“Wow, its sure hot out! I bet Ra the sun god causes the heat!” Myra smiled.

“No, No, NO!” Nora cried, “Myra people are starting to stare because the Egypt gods are NOT real!”

Nora was a bit different. She was very negative towards Myra, and didn’t support Myra enough..

“Yes they are Nora! I know the Egyptian gods are real! Stop fighting with me!” Myra groaned.

“No, Myra! I’m sure they aren’t. Look around! Why do you think something that is not real IS real?” Nora asked.

“Because! I just have a feeling they ARE real!” Myra beamed positively!

“Well, they are not!” Nora responded. “So get over it!”

“Well!” Myra choked, “You are the most rude friend ever! You could have supported me!”

Myra was very upset, this happened every week, so Myra walked home.

Since Myra wasn’t at the park, and none of Nora’s friends where, Nora decided to go home to.

Nora walked home. When she got there, she noticed no one was home. “Hello?” She called. No one was home. Nora unlocked the door and went inside.

POOF.

“Aah!” Nora screamed.

It was two Egypt gods, Ma’at, the goddess of justice, and Thoth, the god of inelegance.

“I am Thoth, and this is Ma’at. We are here because we all know of your inappropriate behavior.” Thoth explained.

“Why? What did I do?” Nora wondered.

“You didn’t show any perseverance. You always put Myra down for her beliefs.” Ma’at said.

“What is perseverance? Is it when you are being bullied?” Nora asked.

“No, it is when you are working towards a goal, or you believe!” Thoth answered.

“And you should show perseverance, or else Myra and your other friends wont be your friends! Myra showed perseverance by believing, and you put her down, and that hurt her a lot.” Ma’at explained.

“Oh. . . I guess I was rude, and I like my friends, and I want to keep them. . . So I want to show perseverance, and I will!” Nora cheered!

“Great!” Thoth and Ma’at beamed, “Now go apologize to Myra, and start showing perseverance!”

POOF. Thoth and Ma’at where gone!

Nora first called Myra and apologized, and admitted she believed in the Egypt gods also. So now Nora always showed perseverance and taught everyone about perseverance to.
